The Square is an award winning, young & innovative focussed tech company. We're looking for an awesome, energetic and creative Full Stack Developer to join our ambitious business.
The Square enables skilled workers to find the best jobs and employers find the best workers. Think of us as Tinder for construction workers. We’re a mobile first business currently focussing on the relatively un-tech-touched construction sector.
This is a key role in the business, responsible for our most valuable asset - our best in class platform. We want an experienced and creative full stack developer to own our web platform. You’ll have the freedom and autonomy to design and build features how you see best. This is a pretty awesome opportunity for the right person.
Some background to our stack...
Backend: Python Django PostgreSQL Swagger
Frontend (web platform): AngularJs 1.5x REST APIs HTML5 CSS3 Bootstrap NodeJS
Android platform: Android SDK 6.0+ Retrofit
The Server host is: AWS
What we look for
Fluent in AngularJS with a good creative design and query optimisation skills. Good technical communication / specification writing skills 5-years +++ experience in web development field.
Responsibilities: Write high-performance AngularJS code. Collaborate with product to create new features. Create new algorithms and optimise existing code. Drive quality by writing automated unit tests.
